i'm back from the chariskidz camp! and although i am totally bushed, i am so grateful it wasn't as stressful as last year. purely cause there were less kids.

anyway, everything went pretty well. hero's trail was a success (: and the dark room obstacle course turned out much better than planned. in fact it turned out to be a mini haunted house. credits to sam (: hahaha jaimie got pretty paranoid about that. but it was good fun (:

and then we slept in tents on the field again. haha and at first it was pretty hot but it got so extremely cold in the end which was just plain uncomfortable with added discomfort of the uneven grassy ground. and the kids this year was oh so roudy! like everyone fell asleep at 1-ish, 2am. and i got up at 4am and could hear people awake (maybe it was just minnie) which brings me to the very sad and unfourtante point that joy and i shared a tent with minnie :/ and she together with kimberly and jessica refused to sleep the entire night and when they finally did i found minnie at my feet. tsk woke up at 5-ish, 6 and saw the guys playing catching? i mean that is a rather unearthly hour to be doing that. plus they had already bathed before that. heard they woke up at 5 when they were only supposed to be up at 7. weird bunch they are.

well camp is over and i'll miss running after the kids, screaming at them to get to their seats and to keep quiet, gushing about ming dao with sharlene, getting high on "marker-sniffing" and most of all my NEW FOUND LOVE (which by the way does NOT overthrow ming dao's place) ahemahem JET LIM (: hahaha



i mean look at that face! how can anyone not love him (: haha well okay fine not a lot do. anyway despite his loud and extremely mischevious behaviour, his occasional cursing and his infamous reputation among his peers of being the "gay" guy cause he kissed his male friends in an attempt to irritate them. yes despite all that, is this cheeky 7 year old who smiles all the time, loves sitting on your lap and gives plenty of hugs! haha cute eh?

and as the final burst of smoke from the campfire drifted into the air came the end of camp meetings, hard to meet deadlines, endless shouting, mad rushing, countless trips up and down the stairs and plain slacking at the comfy red sofa. but all that plus more left me a life time of great memories (:

alright i am SOOOOO extremely tired and in a desperate need to crash on my bed and sleep till 5pm tomorrow.
